Matching the rears would be 20%.

I did 35, not a match but even 35 is illegal where I live I didn't want to push it too much.

Do you have more pictures of the front 35% tint?

Did 5% all around and a 35% ceramic tint on the windshield. It’s dark but surprisingly can still see just fine and with the cameras can get into parking lots and stalls at night just fine.
Looks great!

I see this is an old thread but since it was revived, here's my two cents. I had my front windows tinted to match the back. The shop that did my tint said the rear windows were about 20% but the law for the front is 35%. They were able to get it close at 32% on the front windows. I got stopped for speeding in December and the trooper measured my windows and got exactly 32%. He wrote me up and gave me a $275 citation! Not including the speeding violation. When I asked him how everyone else, including law enforcement, gets away with blacked out windows he told me I could get a form from the RMV (Registry of Motor Vehicles) to fill out and have a doctor sign that would allow tinted windows. I was in luck because I am prone to migraines and that is one of the reasons they allow it. I was able to bring the waiver in to the hearing with me and they dropped the fine. Still got whacked for speeding but didn't have to pay the $275 fine.

Nice. For once the law does something right. I have darker than legal tint on front windows. I also have Police Officers in the family. I’ve never received a tint citation but when I get pulled over both driver side windows are down, license and reg in my hands on the steering wheel, and the interior light on if night time. My officer family and friends tell me they are always a little concerned about the unknown when approaching a vehicle and anything you can do to put them at ease never hurts. In fact I bet I’ve been pulled over for speeding at least 5 or 6 times in the past decade and never once got an actual ticket.

Seems to work a lot better than these people on X that give total attitude and turn a simple citation into a felony arrest

I’ve been doing that for years, a little courtesy goes a long way.

Same here, but it didn’t go very far on this stop. I think he was new because the other trooper hung back.

5%. Can be a little difficult to see at night but it’s great during the day in Florida lol. IMG_2999.jpeg
