How many of you drive this through the snow? What’s your setup for wheels and tires? All seasons? Dedicated set? Thanks, leaving an eternity of jeeps and getting something fun!

A lot depends on where you are and how much snow you get. I’m in Midwest with some snow but rarely more than a few inches. I run Pilot Sport AllSeason. Never really had an issue other than ice. When living in Vermont and New Hampshire I had a separate set of wheels and Blizzaks for winter time with a set of tire chains in back even if I was driving a 3500hd 4x4.

Dedicated 18" rims with Michelin X-ice2. We've had a lot of snow this year and they have really performed.

CT area. Occasionally travel up to VT,NY..etc.
I have a set of 275/60/18 Blizzaks that I was thinking of keeping and finding rims for… getting tired of rim swaps and curious what others are using.

Never. Pulled many out of ditches as well.

Actually traded in a 5 year old 2500hd Denali diesel with 130k miles almost straight up for my ST. Back when you couldn’t get new diesel towing trucks and the used market was crazy. Probably the only time I ever market timed

I drive in quite a bit of snow in Erie, PA. We have had over 80 inches of snow (at the airport) so far this season, though it varies greatly from year to year and around the area. Winter tires are the only way to go here (IMHO). I ran the stock 21s on my '25 for a few weeks before my wheels arrived. They were tolerable but not confidence inspiring.

Now I am running 275/50R20 Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 SUVs on 8.5 wide Enkei Performance YX-5 in gunmetal gray. So far, much better, but the width might not be ideal in really deep stuff. Time will tell. 20250107_202654.jpg 20250120_151533.jpg 20250120_151525.jpg 20250120_151555~2.jpg

Ha! I got back from driving to the Detroit Auto Show yesterday, and it was absolutely covered in salt and grit. After I ran some errands today, I ran it through a touchless wash near my house. I thought it would be nice if you could actually see the wheel color--plus I try to keep salt from building up on the cars. The roads are snow covered but there isn't much salt away from the highway, so I got it home without getting it too dirty.

Both looking good up there^^

Winter tires are amazing for those that have never used them. Performance on hardpack and ice is hard to believe. I still remember the first set of Blizzaks I put on my front wheel drive Cavalier Z24. Drove a full season in ski country before upgrading to 4wd. Never got stuck.

There’s a touchless near me so use it occasionally on my GC. I’m leaning towards the black ST so I guess i’ll need a monthly pass during winter.

I second this setup. I ran KO2s for many seasons and just absolutely hated the road noise. I would only get KO2s for an overlanding rig, but never again for a daily. I run my AT3W year round in a pot hole city and they ride perfectly in the snow.

Yeah these AT3W’s are a beast in the snow!

Z24's were awesome if you had the 3.1 Ltr V6 engine.

It was that or a 5.0 Mustang and everybody had one of those I got the Getrag 5 speed stick. Went through a clutch or two. Had it for over 100k miles. It was definitely reasonably quick but the torque steer was brutal. It served me very well for a first new car.
