Wasn’t going to do it but oh well here it is. X-pipe vs. H-pipe and why you choose what you choose?

X makes it higher pitched…H makes it deeper….as a general rule. Since it won’t make any scavenging difference on a turbo car that’s really all you’re choosing.

H pipe is usually deeper while the x is more raspy and higher pitched. What exhaust are you putting the x pipe or h pipe on?

What would you choose or what do you have? And why?

I assume that’s custom. What Roush mufflers?

I would usually always say h pipe, but it comes to personal preference. IMO a 6-cylinder doesn’t need to be raspy or higher pitched. You need to give us more info too. How is it from the downpipes back? Custom exhaust? What Roush mufflers? Downpipes?

Its a custom Roush Axle back that came off a 5.0 stang. https://www.americanmuscle.com/roush-mustang-axle-back-exhaust-black-tips-422333-blk.html This exact one. With dual 4” tips. Still have stock downpipes. Stock piping, stock mid muffler until we reach the mufflers that's were its the Roush Axle Back. Let me post a video on here of how it currently sounds.
