Sell the axle back and buy what you want. Or save up.
Don't be mad at how the sound advice was delivered. Just understand he is correct.

LOL! That's just the way he is, short, blunt and to the point. Don't take it personal. He actually knows what he is talking about and probably knows more than a bunch of others on here. . .Combined! Anyway, from the way it sounds in your video I would say leave it alone.
Dang well I feel embarrassed, my apologies I’m new to this and new to this car alone. But I appreciate the advice and will definitely take it into consideration.

So I’m pretty much SOL unless I get rid of this Roush axle back and start fresh. I thought I’d be able to do something with this Roush axle back but looks like there isn’t really anything I can do.

Unfortunately, that’s what I’m going to have to end up doing.

On the bright side, your set up sounds pretty good. Better than my stock setup all day.

Wasn’t going to do it but oh well here it is. X-pipe vs. H-pipe and why you choose what you choose?
"jwalkerftw":

Kinda makes you think you opened a hornet's nest, right!?! LOL. This group has a lot of good experience and model specific knowledge; but at the end of the day, what is best for you and your budget.

I have a 2025 ST with a K & N Performance Engine air filter, otherwise it was a bone stock ST from January to March 21st. I had an MRT H-Pipe only installed (resonator delete) and love it. It is truly your preference; my 2010 Mustang GT Premium convertible came with an H-Pipe from the factory. This is the 2nd time I have installed an H-pipe on one of my Ford Performance vehicles.

What do you suggest running (affordable setup)? For those who can’t afford a full on exhaust. Obviously buying a full on exhaust like the 3” Thermal Kit would be ideal for the best sounding and no drone but that’s not the help I’m looking for. I’m currently looking for an alternative setup meanwhile.
If you want something affordable that will have a fantastic sound, the Gibson axle-back is all you need. I’ve had their kit on since they first came out and have enjoyed it since. Real nice rumble, no rasp, no drone. Do a search and check out YouTube videos - there are plenty.
