That article was so wishy washy it wasn't worth the read. Let's see they tried to say gray cars are hard to see but they were the most popular color for a while but by the time I gave up reading it didn't present facts showing gray cars got in more accidents in any meaning full way. How about turning on your lights? Problem solved.

My 1985 Mustang was dark grey metallic and in foggy conditions and at night it was dam near invisible. I made dam sure when it was even going to be the least bit foggy out my headlights were on.
