Hello, I finally tuned my ST - Currently running ZFG 91 on 93 and fairly impressed. I haven't got the chance to put in a E30 mix yet to see if there is a seat of the pants gain. I went with 91 tune because 91 is a little easier to find than 93 and the stations closet to home are ONLY 87. Im trying to run 93 only. A station that isn't super inconvenient does have E85. I would assume the difference/gains between a 93 tune running 93 or E30 would be very minimal compared to a 91 tune running 93 or E30?

If I could do this over again I think I would have gone with goose tuned. Not that I'm not happy with ZFG but based upon what I have read here and on Facebook people are just as happy with Goose - and I could switch tunes much quicker. It's my wife's car and I'm not going to ask her to switch tunes when it takes a good 10 min. With goose my understanding is it doesn't take near as long and I could just tell m my wife to plug in the device, click a few buttons wait 1 min, then fuel up.

My question is: how much of a difference is there between my tune on E30 and a straight E50 tune? Dyno numbers don't tell me too much although interesting - I just want a seat of the pants change. I wouldn't get to play on E50 very often as its just too inconvenient but I guess the occasional fun might be worth it? CVFAB intercooler and FenFab V2 intake on the way. Thanks for any info.

E30 on 91 or 93 is a very noticeable gain over straight 91 or 93. E50 is a noticeable gain over E30.

These cars love ethanol, you’ll definitely notice a difference.

It does indeed take 1min to flash a tune.

It's exactly 4 button presses to do so, with the convenience of the Accessport.
