So, I think my ST has a mind of its own and I wanted to see if anyone else has things like this happen.

Sounds -
So from time to time the "Ford" digging sound when you get in and start it is just not there. Other times its normal and then there are the times that it sound like its coming from under water.
The parking alert when backing up is another example of this. Its always there but sometimes it sounds like its comeing from under water.

Auto Start Stop-
I have not changed the settings in my car for maybe 3 months with the climate control or the dash or anything... during this time, I would come to a stop (i have the auto park hold on all the time) the auto hold light would come on and then the auto start stop would be lined out and the car would not shut off. Fast forward for the last 2 days and now the car is doing the auto stat stop and i have not change anything.

The seats-
I have a 21' so it has the multi functional seat. I use the full body massage all the time b/c i have a bad back and really back leg cramping issues from injuries in Iraq/USMC. well, every now and then, the seat makes popping sounds following by a thud in the upper back. I get the fact that ford had more issues than they could handle with them to the point they pulled them for a number of years. However, if there was something broken in my seat, why wouldnt the popping happen all the time.
The heated seats are another thing, sometimes they are so hot i have to turn them off and sometimes im not sure they are on... again, i have not changed the heated seat setting in 3+ months and i always start my ST with the same key.

Wanted to see if anyone else has had issues with any of these. I also wanted to note that the car is 100% stock with no Forscan mods at all.

Thanks!

Thank you for your service.

Sounds - Have you noticed differences in sound depending on temperature? Electronic sounds sometimes sound different when they are really cold.

Auto Start Stop - That is strange. Is it possible you received an over the air update and that is what changed something?

Massaging seats - Its not completely unusual for something that may be going bad to make noises sometimes while also not making noises other times.

Heated seats - Not uncommon at all to have them really hot sometimes and other times not so much even on the same intensity setting.

Thanks for the comments

So the sound issues happen in any climate from time to time or they just arent there at all like the " Ford" chimes

They had to replace my APIM over the summer and i dont believe there has been any updates after that. But i can look into it. its just odd that there would be one about the Auto Start Stop

Yeah, i guess you are right. i have owned it for about 9months and its done it from day 1 but always happens randomly

Yeah, i thought it was a COVID build issue with the heated seats b/c my Wife's 24 timberline is always just hot as heck LOL!
