Notifications not working

I have my preferences set to receive notifications and it was working fine until today. Did something change to disable that feature? Or is it just a glitch that finally reared its ugly head?

Yes, I checked to see if it got turned off by accident but it is still checked.

The list shows up for every thread I have posted in or sub'd to, but in the little box that says email, there is no check mark in them.

On that list, at the bottom there is a box that says select all, I checked it and right next to it is a drop down list that says enable email notifications. I did that and we'll see what happens.

does your email provider have an ability to add domains to a safe list?

I don't know. I've had the same email provider and address for the last 18 years and never had a problem until recently

Can you try another email provider just to test? Like sign up for a gmail or live account?

well when you change your email, the system sends a verification email. I tried changing my email and could not verify the account as the email never came thru on my gmail acct. I changed it back and to wowway and that won't go thru either. I had to create a new acct with a new email thru yahoo just to get on here to tell you what is going on.

What is puzzling is I still get emails from other forums I'm on at my primary email which is

Once we get this figured out, I'll delete this acct as I would prefer to use I bleed ford blue as that is my name on the other forums also.

Sorry, has been deleted. Got some notifications from earlier today up to around 2 PM on my primary email, but not when I tried to change it. When I get the confirmation one I can go back to my original name and original email.

I'll keep posts under this name only here so when this issue is resolved, I'll switch back and you can delete this acct.

As I said before, I don't think it's on my end because I still get notifications from the other 3 forums I'm on, and they come within minutes, not 6 hours later. The problem is only with this forum.

I just got a notification only 16 minutes after the post was made. Right on par with how it used to be before the issue started.

Did you do anything on your end? The issue seemed to go away as fast as it appeared.
