I want the versatility of having a hitch… I just like a smoothed rear bumper.

Just got mine back from the shop after my first major upgrades ( I’ve done a lot of smaller things and some bling )

Borla S type Cat back w Carbon tips
170 degree thermostat
K&N drop in filter
JLT side catch can
SCTx4 with 5 star custom tunes
whipple Mega Intercooler
Steeda lowering springs
Steeda Sway bar.

next up…. Rims tires and breaks…
I've never owned an SUV/Truck before in my life.
My hitch is shown with pride. Lol
Same here. I like the look of the hitch. I just have a rubber plug in mine.

Gave it a quick clean (don't look at the roof)

Checked the ground clearance when it's on the ramps for an oil change. It just short of 15in at the cross member, plenty of room for me to get under there.

Did Second Skin Damplifier Pro from the back of the front seats to the tailgate and then did a layer of Dynamat Duraliner over the top.

Try an oil extractor. No getting under the vehicle and works pretty good.

Got a nail in a $652 Pirelli run flat right on the corner of the sidewall…so I replaced that which was another $42 to mount and balance. Fun times!

I had 3 punctures in less than 18 months. Two were near the sidewall and had to be replaced and one was repaired. I only had to pay for one tire because the first was during the first 12,000 miles new tire warranty road hazard protection.

Did the AWR brace, took about 10 minutes.

I want to do this but something about loosening this bolt makes me weary. I’m good with electrical stuff but mechanical hardware stuff like this, I’m not sure.

Honestly, it’s just a cover bolt, not too big of a deal. Just don’t over tighten when going back in.

That's what I thought, not sure what problems he was thinking about.

Well I didn’t know it was just a cover bolt. I thought it was a bolt that keeps the differential together.
Okay sir, thank you for letting me know!(y)
