2025 Explorer ST on order.

Has anybody that had an early order or build date received their ST yet or have a delivery date?
Just curious how long people are waiting for their cars after being built.
Mine is being built this week and I live 2 hours south of Chicago and was hoping the delivery wouldn’t take that long.

Thanks!

Mark

One of my local dealers has 22 units listed as in transit on their website, with 7 being ST trims. When I looked up the window stickers, most were built last month, with some around 5/17 and 5/24, but none have been delivered yet. I've inquired with them to see if they have an ETA and to see if CHI has a QA hold on them or if they have actually shipped.

I just got the following response:

"Every 25 Explorer we ordered is in CHI on QA hold just as you predicted. Due to that our database ETA only shows TBD for delivery date. Hopefully, we will know something soon."

I asked them to let me know as soon as they have an updated ETA.

Any update on ETA? I have one waiting in Chicago. Built but no shipping info yet. For reference, I am also located 2 hours south of Chicago.

The new water-spot, hail-resistant exterior paint, used exclusively on the 2025 Explorers, has to sit a minimum of six months to cure prior to any shipping related plastic protection being applied to the exterior paint.

That... has to be - a joke... RIGHT?
They can't bake it? My front steps cure faster than that.

Water based paints for vehicles dry and cure pretty quick
That has To be a typo
Thicker elastomeric coatings for vehicles is cured in less than 12 hrs

Instead of these lifeless 1950's pastel colors.
