Where are you located in canada?
FIrst guy I would call is Adam from zfg racing order up a tuner and he will walk you through the steps to load in in the truck. You will be shocked how good the truck is with just a 93 tune

Thanks man I appreciate it

any good body shop will be able to paint them for you. It’s quite a bit of work my guess is 2000.00 US
@mruff1975 I'm proud to be one of the few that spent the money to do the paint match ($2,400 in NJ). I love your Atlas Beast with those agressive wheels, really makes it STand out from the rest of the pack! View attachment 20200829_064605_02_1.mp4 View attachment 20200829_064358_02_1.mp4

Hahahahaha That's exactly what the guy who did my Body work said!! ...FORD Range Rover SVR.

He asked me if I wanted to put the RANGE ROVER badging on instead of the EXPLORER

Would taking off the “Explorer” letters from the hood be something easy to do or should it be done by a body shop? Would I need special tools?

Are you going to wrap the hood or just debadge?

Either way if you heat up the adhesive it'll come off pretty easily

I'm a bit worried about the warranty with the tune. I heard if it is not from Ford Performance, it will void it.

Hey Nick! I was just thinking of debaging. I’d probably need a special heat gun though right?

I’m not Nick but I took mine off 11 months ago. Warmed them up with a hair dryer simply pulled them off and used some goo be gone. Looks perfect! Jim

You don’t need to heat them up. Just grab a piece of fishing line or dental floss and use it to slice them right off the hood. Goo Gone works to get rid of the adhesive residue but if you have access to a 3M Eraser Wheel it makes it a 5 minute job.

mruff1975 I like how great yours came out that I called a local paint shop to do the same paint work on my black ST and they said that the plastic parts that are on there now would need to be replaced with versions from Ford that are intended to be painted. If they were to paint over the existing ones the paint would like chip and/or flake over time.

Do you know if your shop replaced them before painting too?

Thanks!

Find a better paint shop. There are no paintable versions from Ford...yours need to be smoothed out and prepped right and they’ll last just as long as every other painted plastic part.

How much it cost you to have Ford do it? I’m sure it’ll be different by me, but just to get a rough idea.

Installed the steeda sway bar and end links today. Truck handles noticeably better on hwy on/off ramps. I really love this truck FA2C8C6C-E881-4720-B4DC-A6066A1FED89.jpeg 357AE2E9-6EAF-4864-B07F-24D28B952D90.png B3D02E7C-6BAA-44EF-82D4-80865271D2B1.png
