I took my lettering off the hood and left it off. I feel it makes a cleaner look.

I think I'll do the same.

My nice little $35 paint matched bumper plugs arrived, along with black lug nuts. I went ahead and ordered Vossen lug nuts. They are cold forged aluminum and are surprisingly light weight. When I picked up the package of 20 lug nuts off the porch, I thought it was a Tshirt I had ordered at first, that’s how light weight they are.

Well, silly me. The Vossen lug nuts are for after market wheels only. I’ve ordered the black Gorilla nuts for the ST.

Fortunately, the F150 and Explorer share the same lug nuts, so the Vossens will be going on my truck. Depending on the amount of rain we get this week, I’ll be getting this whole lug nut debacle finalized.

You will need 4 more lug nuts if you put them on your F150, they have 6 lugs per wheel, so you will need 24 total.

Yes, I already ordered a set of 4 locking lug nuts to bring my total up to 24

Got the bumper plugs pushed in, and swapped the lug nuts out for the black Gorillas.

Hi. Would you mind sharing a link to the exact black Gorilla lug nuts that will correctly fit the 22 ST? I appreciate it. Thank you very much.

Impressive. Best I ever got was 23 mpg on the highway. I must not be driving mine right. :)
I drove the speed limit  But we did have some decent elevation changes, sat in Dutch Bros drive through for 15 minutes, etc.

My 2016 XLT feels like a dinosaur compared to the refined Explorer ST.
