if you have the b and o stereo..yiu have active noise control and the piped in engine noise. The two are joined at the hip in the software.
I tried over and over to separate the 2
If you turn off engine noise, it defaults to also turn off anc
My last attempts...seemed to have
Removed or softened the engine noise on all m9des except sport, and left anc. On in the other modes
It also appears that subtle changes in the program in 20, 21, 22 and 23s
That make each year slightly different
When i get home I will pull the codes I have now
But it's basically back to stock
So anc (active noise canceling) is on
And engine noise is pronounced in sport.
Which defies logic as the f150 22 speaker b and o...you can separate the two
My f150 is Uber quiet
With no engine noise
There seems to be microphone numbers and placement that changed...I suspect covid deletes played a part
You csn drill down in your as built files then go line by line in the apim, spreadsheet and try to manipulate the codes to see if it helps
I found out...my hearing aids did an update and are like bose noise canceling..all the underlying bs noises are gone
I don't wear them everyday
But they work wonders in the st....
If I leave them at home
