My original battery is 34 months old. The car is going into Battery save mode.

Should I replace the battery or wait?

Try resetting the BMS. I did that to mine close to a year ago. It is 60 months and and still going.

Costco has the best prices on Batteries. Well at least in NJ. My wife’s Murano battery died after 6 years. Most places wanted $176 - $250 for a battery. Costco was $129 + 15 for core return
I used Costco as well. Their warranty is what makes it. Interstate battery, 3 year warranty, set a calendar reminder and swap it no questions asked at 30 months or so, only pay any price increase not a prorated charge. I put these in both our cars.

WOW! I put in a new battery from Interstate about a month ago and it only cost me $79! Yes, it was the right battery! LOL I did get it at cost though.

I’m coming up on 3 years with my original battery in my 22. I get the deep sleep notification maybe once or month or so. Mainly just when I leave my dash cam running overnight and it’s monitoring mode. My auto start stop hasn’t worked in over a year. I know my battery is not at its full capacity, but outside of that occasional deep sleep notification, I never have any issues.

I just had it in the dealer a week ago and they did a warranty test on it and everything checked out. I wonder if I should try resetting the BMS. Is there any reason to not do that on a older battery?

I did the BMS reset. The car hasn't went into deep sleep this week.

I drive about 60 miles a day about 10 hours a week. I know the battery is getting fully charged.

Yeah I drive maybe 15-20 miles a day on average. Not much. Mine definitely doesn’t get charged enough. I try to throw it on a battery tender once every 2-3 months in hopes it helps maintain it. Which overall it seems to be helping. Just wondering if the bms would “reset” things since I started doing that.

I would try resetting the BMS. It can't hurt and worked well for me.

It worked for me about 8 months ago. I was getting the sleep notice every time I parked it. My battery is over 3 years old and no doubt getting close but haven't seen notification one time since the reset.

Well, hooked my ST up to a battery tender overnight to “charge it up” and did the BMS reset this morning. First light, start stop turns on. Very interesting for sure and maybe that’s what I needed to do all along. We will see how long this holds up.

I did have some luck with the BMS reset earlier this year. Now I get the warning for Power Save just a few minutes after parking. No issues starting...but very frustrating loosing the 'touch' entry and having to dig for my key.

Finally put on a trickle charge last night and this morning all the Ford Pass functionality came back. Been sitting in the cold train station all day without a problem. Maybe a reset now will keep the reminders from coming back?

I would try to reset the BMS again. I've done mine twice over a period of time.

I ran that in my 11 CTSV. Had the battery 5 years when I sold it and she was still cranking.
