Our new ST now has 1500 miles. We just got back from a family vacation to Denver (from Grantsville, UT). My wife noticed a clicking noise coming from the engine. It's rhythmic with the rpm's. It could be normal, but doesn't sound like any engine I've heard. The oil is perfect and it doesn't have enough miles for a stuck lifter, IMO. I looked for debris caught in the fan and underneath. If there was anything underneath I wouldn't be able to see it. Anyone else experienced anything like this? It's not easy to get into the dealership right now.

Without a video it's next to impossible to tell if it's normal or not. I got my whole long block replaced at 10k miles due to cam phaser issues, which made it sound like a diesel. But these are definitely not quiet engines.
