If you have a 20 then yours could be there. Ford decontented the explorer for 21 and again for 22, the heated windshield is one of the items that were removed in 21. So 20 is the only year that had it available. If you have the heated mirrors and heated steering wheel, there is a good chance you have it. If you have it, plug it in and go into forscan and in the HVAC module you will find the heated windshield, make sure it is toggled on.

I'll pull the battery and look for the end of the wire. It wasn't loose when I pulled on it the other day .

So I didn't pull the battery, just the cover. The new windshield definitely has the plug and it is connected to a harness so I enabled in forscan. Guess we will see if it snows again.

Hope it works for you Would be nice to have the option of adding it on a 22.
