Lethal Perf downpipes correct recall?

My St has a recall for the exhaust inlet on left side. If I install the Lethal Performance catted downpipes, does it replace the part that is in the recall? Any check engine lights with the downpipes? Do they mate to stock midpipes? And, do I need my PBD tune upgraded?

Yes the downpipe is the recalled part and would be replaced. If I were you, if you still have the stock midpipes, I'd get aftermarket ones if you are already doing the downpipes. Most don't stick with just the downpipes so you may as well get a full cat back exhaust (including midpipe) while you have the stock exhasut off. You don't "need" a retune but may gain some power with one.

OK, good. I already replaced the midpipes with the ones from Lethal Performance. Do the downpipes cause a check engine light?
