So several weeks ago I was driving my wife ST and I had the parking brake set while at a stoplight and using auto hold. I couldn’t duplicate it any other time until today. Today I had it engage the brake 3 times all within 5 minutes. I’m coming to a stop, seeing the auto hold light and taking my foot off the brake and boom, parking brake engaged. It’s never happened to my wife who’s driven the majority of the mileage. If it does it more frequently I’ll call the dealer but now I just want to let someone know. Why does it even engage in Drive?

Mine did that once. I figured I must have hit the switch accidentally. I never heard of it happening before to anyone else.

I really don't remember, but I don't recall any circumstances that stood out as a reason for it.
