Gonna be a bit...Thermal says about the end of the year.
Booooo (n)

They said they were going to do a group buy at the end of the month....which means i figured they would have some possible sound clips . How long could it possibly take to make the final decision on muffler choice ? At least a sound clip would keep potential buyers in the game .

Boy, not alot of competition in the exhaust market, no intakes (yes I know they aren't likely to be adding much performance), but we have 9 different intercooler, a dozen different tunes, and a $1000 set of downpipes...I guess at least we know we have some good hard core performance options.

I’m thinking about taking mine up to Fort Worth to Kinneys for a mandrel bent stainless 3” system.

I actually just reached out to them this last weekend on doing the very same thing.

A while back they told me $1600ish. Price could move around depending on options. That was for 2.5”.

Yeah they said their current 2.5" system was 1395, but I'd want way less mufflers than they have on that kit lol

Besides Whipple, who else makes an i/c for the ST?

Their cheaper system is crimp bent piping. The difference was for mandrel bent.

Corsa is only mid-pipe back. No point in a 2.5” system that retains a few feet of 2.25” piping.

I’m sure Ron wishes it was moving faster as well.

I am wondering why they are going with 2.5" instead of 3"... Even at low boost levels full 3" piping shows significant gains over 2.5" in 99% of turbo applications, so I am wondering if it has to due with space limitations.

Hi is it possible for you to share exactly which Ebay exhaust tips you purchased and shoot a few photos looking up at the bottom of the tips showing how it was welded in place to the muffler. I decided I want black tips instead of the chrome ones I bought. I like the looks of the Borla S type muffler and tips but have not fallen in love with that sound or pipe diameter.

Just some random 4” diameter 9” long tips. There’s tons to choose from. I can’t get any pics...I’m away from the house on a jobsite.

Good to know, I didn't know that. So it stops before the flex pipe going to the cats?
