Are you changing the master cylinder with those new brakes? Seems to me you will have much longer pedal travel if you don't up the capacity of the mc to match the extra volume of the caliper. How about the extra heat generated by the much larger thermal mass of the larger rotors? Will you modify the cooling? Also the significantly larger diameter front rotor will mess up proportioning, it will be interesting to see if the Ford electronic system that was referred to previously has the capacity to adapt to larger amounts of fluid movement and the significantly higher brake torque from the fronts.
Are you seeing heat checking or signs of overheating on the existing rotors? Pads and fluid are often all that's needed to mitigate fade.
From the looks of it. Have u ever done a BBK upgrade .? Manufactures ( if done correctly ) take this into account. Running a 6 piston upgrade on my evo vs stock design with 0 issues.

It’s already triangulated on the back side under the cowl trim…2 huge round braces.

I wanted external charging posts since the battery is buried under that panel under the hood. This will give easy access for a charger…mostly for long stereo tuning sessions on the car but I guess they’ll save me if the battery goes dead too since I have no locks in the doors. The piece they’re mounted to is thin aluminum so I used a mounting plate for a backer to stiffen it up.

Where exactly did you mount that? I haven't looked but don't they give you at least an accessible positive terminal for jumping?

I usually run a pigtail for a battery charger but nothing heavy gauge. I like the idea of a high current easily accessed charging point.

Ah I see.

My wife's Mercedes has an Aux battery under the seat in back. If it dies, you have no gears as it drives the transmission selector motor so you can't even put it in neutral.

Did you wrap the hitch cover? I like the look of the gloss much better than the textured, but I'd be concerned it could end up looking like the B pillars.
It’s been smoother and painted gloss black by them. Treat it like any other painted part.

I'm considering running this gauge and getting an E50 tune instead of running Water/Methanol injection. If you were to do it again, would you go this route again, or is there another way you'd do it this time around?
