That's the problem with automotive forums or at least every one that I've ever belonged to. People are much more vocal about the problems they have with a vehicle than they are about the things the vehicles do well. It's easy to find comments about the bad but it certainly doesn't mean all the vehicles are bad. There are so many satisfied owners out there that don't say a thing.

Then there is that one member who either has a true lemon or they have a perceived lemon. They simply won't let it go and whine literally about every inch of their vehicle, frequently in many threads. They pop up in threads that aren't related to any issue they have with their own vehicle and whine. It gets old.

@Medotechinc, when I just pulled up the new posts all 3 of them had you whining in them. I for one very much hope that Ford buys your vehicle back so you can move on. It makes me feel bad for the Dodge, GM or whatever forum you move to next. Heaven forbid that Ford is able to fix your car and you are forced to stay here.

Do not get this car. Read all the forums. This car is nothing but a headache.

I’m sorry you hate your vehicle, but 13,000 miles, 7 months and I’m still in love with my Explorer ST. Yes its has some minor interior rattles. But so has every car I owned. My fathers 2018 Grand Cherokee is no better, neither is my girlfriends 2019 GMC Terrain, even my buddies 3 series BMW has rattles. You should have bought a Lincoln or a Cadillac if you wanted absolute silence not an SUV with large rims, low sidewall, and stiff suspension. The sportier the vehicle the more harsh they ride.

I had a front axle boot clamp missing and a dead battery because the 20 ST sat a long time before I purchased it.
18,000 miles later it has given me zero problems.
I guess I was born lucky.
Just ask my wife.......
