Sneak peek at my take on the Aviator screen swap. I took my idea and a spare screen to a friend at a high end audio shop who specializes in trim work…this is where we are right now. The whole bottom was cut off the screen I’m going to use then the top was cut off the spare and blended together. The rest will be trimmed in black acrylic. The 3D printed bottom trim options just weren’t gonna work for me. This is certainly not a cheap option…worth it to me though. att.ClYL0ucsVodgFctmmpXED9o_DkCQpqXCBcG760DhNOU.jpeg att.WwjHmOpZsAlGhcXsIicUH6UOeusKSSVIqMMhEK-6E-E.jpeg att.pb3_DHRN6Hb1Fi20qgV0zU-Ve7taXqWWJMZ6p5oKf_U.jpeg

Impressive dedication and vision to your mods.
Something tells me this isn’t your first rodeo.

A few more pics of the current state. I’ll add more when the last trim piece is done.
if you look close at the shell you can see where the 2 were bonded together. Having a laser on hand to make the cuts perfect helped a lot. att.G3OvpP6NjGPhpiAXH_dVIJfANyEvE7Epqw0GJQTs-hQ.jpeg att.IuerUPx4EHausbbkLveqUAr950I3VPCXfJ-6KDPuAsI.jpeg att.kgHQJg_VQcOTzV-ovWX7qPI7xlJ52NSMaIEdOW-RNno.jpeg

Very impressive. Looks good. I don't suppose these will be something other forum members can purchase?

Also, is that a F100 delivery in the background? Can we get a tour of that too? :D

This will be cost prohibitive for anyone with a brain in their head. It’s definitely not something there would be a market for to sell I don’t think. Buying two screens plus labor you’re probably at near $1500 unless you get the screens for dirt cheap.
