Before my 2020 ST.... I drove a 2013 PIU. IMO, the driver seat on my 2013 PIU felt much more comfortable than my 2020 ST.

I had a 17 explorer. The side bolsters were to stiff and to high making them uncomfortable. The seats in the 20 are also wider, I believe.

I concur about the seats being uncomfortable. Seems like there’s no padding. My bullitt I traded in had way more comfortable seats, even my old RAV4 seats were better.

I thought mine were uncomfortable on longer trips when I got mine. However, with all the air adjustments in the seat (not just the usual bolster) I was able to get it to one of the most comfortable seats I have ever had.

Not that I want to compare my ass to yours, but you asked. LOL! My ass loves my Explorers heated seat and massage as does the wife's boney ass.
Wow.. I reached a new low discussing my ass with another dude. ..... WTF.

I find the Exp seats much more comfortable than the seats in my prev. Highlanders ( '11 & '17) and RAV4s ('11 and '19), esp. the 2019 RAV, the seats are really poor for any trip over like 30 mins. Toyo uses fake leather 'softtex' which is basically vinyl, sticky and sweaty, in a bad way. The Exp seats were pretty firm at first and now seems to have 'broken in'.

in the center of the seat controller press the round button. The seat setting will pop up on the center screen and use the seat controller to navigate around and adjust desired setting(s).

The padding on the bottom seat is too thin. What bottom seat padding could we buy that is comfortable and still allows the massage to get through? Anyone find something that works?

The seats are wonderful to my ass. Maybe the OP has a defective ass?

Use those massagers if you have them. They help a little.

I agree. I came from a Focus RS and those seats held you in like a vice. ST Explorer seats seem like a happy compromise
