What's This Noise?

Hi All,
As of recent, the ST has developed a whistling sound. I don't think it's turbo related because it happens below boost rpm. It seems to come up when I'm cruising around 35-40mph and tac-ing between 1100-1300rpm. It gets a little louder with load but seems to be the only place it happens. Any thoughts? I'm hoping it's not transmission related.

I had the same noise with a car, turned out to be a wheel bearing, but it cut in around 55-60 mph. Have any of the tires brushed against a curb recently?

Wtf, that would drive me nuts! Possibly a vacuum leak somewhere

Do you have a oil separator? If so check the fitment. Could be coming from a disconnected line or possibly another vacuum leak some where.

I'm totally stock, no mods.

Check your stock vaccum connections. Other then that I would have to hear it. Sorry I couldn't help more

I noticed it at speeds above 40 mph. I don't hear it at slower speeds.

Yes, coming out of the drive through at the bank, there's a hard left turn and they didn't make it wide enough for an ST to traverse without brushing the front right or rear left tire. I'll have to check on that.

Def sounds electronic like some kind of alert if that's what you're pointing to.
