Today I flashed my ecu, sct boxed tune 93 octane. Once I install cvf intercooler I will purchase a JDM tune. The boxed tune is definitely noticeable, I did a rip before getting ready for work this afternoon. I use sct because I don't have to involve 10 different entities to flash or is it 3, idk. There is an option to disable start stop in the sct boxed tune.

I think it was just the lack of man power or that it’s small potatoes compared to some insurance work.

I got one of the nagging issues on my car fixed. I know some of you have had the driver's power window switch stop working correctly; where it won't auto up/down and goes back down to half way when it fully closes. I'd reset this and it would work fine for a few weeks then go back to being messed up again. Tech at my dealer said if it happens once, it's difficult to explain, but if it keeps happening, then it's the regulator that's an issue. This makes sense there was a regulator issue as I would hear a faint grinding when the window went fully down, but didn't think much of it. Parts arrived in one day, and window is silent. Hopefully this is the permanent fix!

Also ordered up some Steeda springs and toe links to take advantage of their Labor Day sale.

Finally got it back. They had to replace the SODR ("Solid Object Detection Receiver") on the starboard quarter. Replaced "part # 14C689". No more sensor failures and it only took two weeks.

Today I installed the 3rd zone climate control and rear heated seats module. My truck is a 2022 and it was built without the controls. I along with everyone else was credited for the removal. Installation was super easy and took around 10 mins to complete. The rear seats have the elements and all wiring installed and the rear centre console where the module is located has the wiring taped that controls the settings. Pics are included here, along with the part number for the controls. I bought the control unit from Camelback Ford in Arizona. They had it in stock, but only this one.

Looks great! Not that it’s a big deal but what was the charge for the part?
Thanks! Jim

Thanks again! i'm on it.
Glad to help out. I ordered it through a local dealer and was told no one had stock and there was no ETA as to when available. I just happened to get lucky.

I've been considering doing this for some time now. If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost? Also, let us know how it holds up. I've seen other threads where the paint was pealing due to the lack of prep work.

Thanks very much for sharing this information and the photos. So if I order this same part number, LB5Z19980G, it will work to control the HVAC and heated seats in my 2022 ST? I'm not very mechanical so I'd just like to confirm with you please. Thanks again for sharing!
